Alpaca Sock - Vegetable Garden

Vegetable Garden is a colorway inspired by Junior Gorgs’ garden from Fraggle Rock. It is made up of varying oranges and browns with bright pops of sprout green. Inspired by the wonderful works of Jim Henson and Fraggle Rock.

This is an incredibly soft 4 ply yarn that is a blend of superfine alpaca, superwash merino and nylon. This yarn is wonderful for socks, but would also be perfect for shawls and hats. As you can see from the photo, this yarn has a bit of a "hairy" halo to it, which so may find itchy but I've found it to be quite soft. It tends to take dye a little less vibrantly than my merino/nylon blends.

Hand wash/lay flat to dry.

Multiple skeins of the same dye lot are listed at the same time. Please note, they are sold individually. To see how many are available, simply check the quantity underneath the price in the top-right corner. It is always recommended when knitting with two or more skeins of hand-dyed yarn to alternate each skein every few rows.

Yarn is dyed in a smoke free/pet-friendly home.
Hand dyed with professional acid dyes & may bleed slightly upon first wash.
